The SL320 is the headliner of Backlight's staging lineup because it gives larger outdoor events a substantial, road-ready production platform. Backlight can build the rest of the show around it — concert audio, lighting, LED video and technical crew under one coordinated plan.

The SL320 uses a hydraulic deployment system designed to reduce the labor and logistical burden of conventional staging. Stageline's published sequence moves from leveling the trailer to deploying the floor and roof, loading rigging and accessories at working height, then raising the roof and completing rails and stairs.

A major stage creates the opportunity to simplify the entire technical production. Backlight can coordinate the SL320 with PA, show lighting, LED video, screen support and production crew so the departments are designed to work together from the first call to the encore.

The numbers matter because they define what can be designed around the stage. Final rigging, wind and configuration decisions are always governed by the applicable engineering documentation and operating requirements.
STAGE + ROOF
Stage floor: 40' × 40' standard.
Stage height: adjustable from approximately 3'6" to 6'.
Roof: approximately 42'4" × 42'2".
Rigging height: 22'4" to 25'7".
RIGGING CAPACITY
Published roof load-bearing capacity: 26,000 lb, subject to the SL320 rigging plan and approved load distribution. Multiple rated rigging points and roof trusses support production design.
WEATHER ENGINEERING
Stageline publishes gust wind resistance up to 115 mph without windwalls and 77 mph with windwalls. Weather procedures and engineering limits must be followed for every deployment.
LED SCREEN SUPPORT
Stageline's optional screen-support system is specified for screens up to 24' × 25' with a published capacity of 6,000 lb per side. That creates a natural path to integrate Backlight LED video into the stage package.

SITE + LOGISTICS
DESIGNED FOR OUTDOOR EVENT REALITY.
The SL320 travels as a road-legal fifth-wheel trailer and unfolds into a large production structure. Stageline specifies no site-preparation requirement and no heavy machinery for the standard stage deployment, while heavy-duty stabilizers allow the platform height to be adjusted for uneven terrain.
Accessories, production equipment, LED systems and site conditions can create additional requirements. Backlight advances those needs as part of the event plan.
